A spokesperson for Chris, who posted a – since remove – picture on Twitter of a cut on his face claimed he was the victim of a "brutal attack".
Speaking about Chris and his entourage, Jeff Raymond added to Reuters: "They sustained several injuries. Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further."
Allison Elbl Striegel, a representative for Drake, told Reuters that the 'Take Care' star "did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property".
The New York Police Department are currently investigating the incident, and would not say whether either rapper was involved.
Several other people are understood to have been injured during the incident earlier this week.
