Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse are to be honoured during the 2012 Brit Awards ceremony in London.
The annual awards show has reportedly been adjusted to cater for special tributes to the artists, both of whom have died in the past eight months.
"Whitney and Amy are two of the biggest female stars in the history of music," a source told The Metro. "Both have made their mark onstage at the Brits in the past.
"Something would feel missing if both their legacies weren't remembered at the show."
Amy Winehouse died last July at the age of 27, while 'I Will Always Love You' singer Whitney was found dead just over a week ago in Los Angeles.
The BRIT Awards 2012 are due to take place at London's O2 Arena tomorrow night, keep it Choice for all the latest from this year's event.
