50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) was born on July 6, 1976 in New York and was signed to Columbia Records in 1999.
In April 2000, the rapper was victim of a shooting incident which led to him spending the following months in recovery .
Since then the US Rapper has enjoyed massive success in the UK Charts with singles such as 'In Da Club', '21 Questions', 'Candy Shop' and more. His latest singles 'Baby By Me' is currently flying high on the Choice playlist.
His collaborations have included Eminem, Dr Dre, The Game, Mary J Blige, Ciara and Justin Timberlake. 50 Cent is also no stranger to the big screen making a number of acting appearances both in character and has himself.
Although currently unconfirmed, rumours suggest that 50 Cent will embark on a full european tour in 2010...
