Just Friends? Jen And Gerard Admit Chemistry

It's been the big Hollywood rumour for months and now Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have revealed to Sky News the truth about their relationship.

The wonderful rapport between them is very apparent in their new action-comedy The Bounty Hunter.

And a recent sizzling photo shoot of the pair for W Magazine has only added fuel to the rumour their relationship has spilled over into real life.

"That day I was like 'oh my God'," Gerard said, referring to the shoot.

"She was so sexy in that lingerie and it was a really raunchy shoot.

"It's crazy that you do that and people are like 'oh there's something going on because look that's a sexy photo'.

"It's funny because it's been over a year now that people go 'is there something going on?' and if there is something going on I'd be very happy to say 'ah there's something going on'."

So, there is nothing "going on" according to Gerard, in case you didn't get that.

However, he does admit the pair have a very close bond and there is more to it than work.

"We have a great chemistry off screen as well, it's just a great chemistry. We're great friends," he says.

"Unfortunately if you are single and you have even a friendship then people like to see more into it, but we're just friends."

Jennifer reiterates his sentiments saying she can't even be pictured standing next to a man without 'Mystery Man' being plastered across the papers.

"People can't get enough of this, it just doesn't make sense," laughed Jennifer, talking about her and Gerard.

"We just have a good time together, we're really comfortable together, so I guess that means you can't just be platonic."

So now that rumour is sorted out, what about talk of a Friends movie?

Once informed that repeats of the sitcom are to be taken off air in the UK, Aniston appears concerned.

"I feel as though we should because people really seem to want it but again it's a rumour - but a rumour with serious legs.

"That's sad that they are taking it off here, now I'll have to consider a movie!"
