Michael Jackson's dad has denied he ever beat his son as a child. Joe Jackson used to be manager for the Jackson 5 and has long been accused of ruling his family with an iron fist. Michael himself spoke out about the alleged abuse at the hands of his dad in several interviews but now Joe's done a TV interview, saying he didn't punish his children any more severely than other parents.
Meanwhile, the LA coroner investigating Jacko's death says a toxicology report should be out next week. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter has taken medical records from the singer's dermatologist as part of his inquiries as well. He's also dismissed claims that Dr Arnold Klein hasn't been co-operating with police.
