Boy band JLS are to appear in a TV advert for Walkers crisps with Gary Lineker and Jenson Button.
The group, made up of Aston Merrygold, Jonathan "JB" Gill, Marvin Humes and Oritse Williams, told Sky News they were in awe working with the former England footballer and F1 champion.
Band member Marvin Humes, 24, told Sky's Mark Longhurst: "It's been great working with Gary - He's iconic. And when we got down to the set Jenson was there too.
"It was really busy but fun and the ad will be aired on TV this weekend."
The boys also spoke out about their relationship with Simon Cowell after he backed their opposition Alexandra Burke in the final of The X Factor in 2008.
JB, 23, said: "We see Simon Cowell every now and then and when we went back to perform on The X Factor before Christmas he congratulated us.
"There's no bad vibes or ill feeling between us."
JLS, which stands for "Jack the lad swing", got through to the final of the 2008 competition but lost out to Alexandra in the public vote.
The group said that, despite going on to become a successful recording act, losing the X Factor still fills them with disappointment.
"It hurt, not going to lie," said group member Aston, 22.
"It's like any competition, the Champions League or any sort of final...not to win is hard because that's your only desire.
"But Alexandra Burke is amazing."
Speaking on the boys' future, JB insisted they are not looking to leave the UK just yet.
"We'd love to head to the US eventually, but our focus is here right now."
