Beckham Spares Lady's Blushes In New Tattoo
David Beckham has unveiled a tattoo of a famous piece of art - with an extra etching to cover up a lady's modesty.
The AC Milan star showed off the latest addition to his portfolio of skin art during a match against AS Roma at the weekend.
The tattoo, on the top of his left arm, is based on a Renaissance painting by Francesco Francia which shows Cupid taking his wife Psyche to heaven.
But while the original showed Psyche's naked body uncovered from the waist down, Beckham's design added a veil to cover her private parts.
The latest tattoo was unveiled two months after the former England captain showed off another on his torso depicting Jesus Christ on his way to the cross.
Beckham already has a crucifix on the back of his neck, a guardian angel between his shoulder blades and an angel on his right shoulder.
He also sports the names of his three children in ink, as well as the Roman numeral VII and his wife Victoria's name in Hindi.
