Community Payback

Your area, Your choice
Do you know of an area in your community that needs improving? Has somewhere become dangerous or unsafe for local residents to use? Have your say now for your chance to benefit from the Community Payback scheme.

Community Payback is a punishment handed out by courts to offenders, allocating thousands of hours of physical work, with the aim to improve communities across the country.

All projects are visible in the community, so you can literally see offenders paying back the community for their crimes. Participants wear high visibility orange jackets with Community Payback branding and once completed each project will display a Community Payback sign.

You have the opportunity to have your say on what projects you would like to be improved in your local area. It could be anything from clearing up litter and graffiti in a local park, bringing derelict areas back into public use, or refurbishing community centres and other public buildings.
